Hi lads, I thought I would share the opinion on the Leia I mentioned earlier in the week. I spoke to Lee Bullock and Gary Smith for quite some time about this item. Lee carefully removed the figure and unfortunately found the stamps of a production figure..... So that rules out a toy fair piece.
Lee reckons it is in fact a quality control sample. Later on I spoke to one of the guys from the cantina who furthered the qc idea as the tearing on the back has sticker residue that goes up a couple of inches. This could be where the qc sticker was placed. I showed it to a fair few people- (sorry silver grin, i was hoping to meet up) and everyone was pretty baffled. I will do some research on qc items and hopefully find some new info to share.

Yeah it was great to meet up stu, I'm sorry I didn't stick around for longer, I didn't think to show you the Leia, I think the qc idea is pretty watertight. Also there was a canadian boba fett sticker on the back of empire cards so it could be a bit of a hybrid. It's a cool piece!
