who can remember robotix????

i went to my dads house over xmas and he said he had found some stuff of mine in the loft .... :shock: as you can imagine i thought "starwars", but no my dad had sold all of that for about 50p at a car boot sale when i was 15 (how stupid of me) anyway, it was a whole robotix set that i got for xmas in about 86' or 87'.......... the battery pack took 8 massive type D's and it weighed the same as me at the time..... anyway has anyone else got any?? or know anything about it? :?

quality............i never knew it was based on a cartoon!! the robot in the picture on the front of the video case is the one i could build using the set... :lol:

Robotix is a favorite of mine. I unfortunately never had any of the toys, but a friend of mine did. I however do have a copy of the movie that I recently converted to DVD. I watched that quite a bit. It was on old vhs bootleg my dad made for me. At the beginning of the tape was Transformers: The Movie and then after that was Robotix.
