Today it is 25 years ago Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves with a young Kevin Costner as Robin Hood came to the cinema.

25 years, damn that is crazy, we are getting old guys :lol:

Yes it is sad that we lost Alan Rickman

He was fantastic in that movie as the sheriff :lol:

I visit the tree (which is actually at Hadrian's Wall) at least twice a year. The one where Kevin Costner stands on the wall to look over the fields.

I remember it, I saw it a few years ago and I think it was fantastic, it is also called Robin of Sherwood

One of my favourites too. Have the blue Rays and the recent books by Andrew Orton which have some great stories of the making of the programme.

Did you know they have made another episode this year with original cast as an audio drama?

It was Michael Praed who played Robin and he die in the tv series. Then there comes a new Robin Hood but he is called Robert of Huntingdon and is played by sean connerys son :wink:

I had forgotten all about that song, but know I remember it, I also loved that song

Loved this film, must have been to the cinema at least 3-4 times to see it... it did seem to be on there for about a year though to be fair! It's one of the few films I can quote a great deal of too.
