This guy was a genius in stop motion, and brought to the screen some awesome creations.

And the skeletons scene in Jason and the argonauts....thats still awesome

What a fantastic talent and inspiration....a very sad loss

I will be watching some films as a homage :D

i concur great scene great film! cgi these days pahhhhhhhhhhhhh...........cant beat stop motion and puppetry also rotj jabba palace scene amazing as is whole of dark crystal!

He wasn't involved in any way on King Kong as he'd of only been about 11 or 12 when it was made.

Still a legend though.
