i suppose every body is a big fan of the old 10p classic arcade games and commodore 64 and spectrums
whats your fav arcade game of all time ?
i think mine has to be wonderboy or double dragon 1
and what did you have c64 ,spectrum or amstrad?
i had the commodore used to love the dizzy,s

ps i am the world greatest on wonderboy, double dragon ,mario kart and sensible soccer on the mega drive

I had a Spectrum 48k and the 128k 8)

Favourite arcade games are probably WWF Superstars and Wrestlefest, Mortal Kombat and Streetfighter 2 although I was never any good at any of them!!

street fighter 2 broke the mould for fighting games

can you remember snaping the plastic corners of the cartridge slots on the mega drives so that you could play jap games,

I also remember paying £60 for the SNES version :o

Still got a boxed SNES and games. Are they worth anything these days, is it worth keeping or is it crap to throw out?

dont throw it but they arnt worth anything .....yet
after loosing a frtune on my star wars stuff i would think hard about throwing anything retro as you never know how much its gonna be wanted in the future
i think all the emulators and roms you can get online has killed mega drives and snes value for now

The reason I started using ebay was to buy another SNES and a load of games as I regretted selling my old one. If it wasn't for that I wouldn't have discovered you could still get SW figures. 8)

Last time I checked some SNES games go for decent money so it's best to check final listings to see what current prices are.

Think that you are right. I horde all my stuff anyway as I'm too lazy to sort it out. You never know what junk may be worth something in the future.

Glad that I didn't chuck my Star Wars stuff although I'm sure there is more in the loft that is yet to be rediscovered. Unfortunately there's 20 years of other crap in the way that I would say has not accrued in value in the same way. There's probably huge spiders living in it all anyway.

Space Harrier.

Golden Axe

space harrier was great you to love it when it started saying WELCOME TO THE FANTASY ZONE .........GET READY then after a level YOUR DOING GREAT

At uni the carpet along the corridor outside my room was a green chequered pattern, just like the ground on space harrier.

A friend played it late on night in my room while slightly high. He freaked when he tried walking up the corridor afterwards.

i had a spectrum +3 with floppy disc drive, i think my parent paid £450 for it in 1986 :o i seem to remember most spectrum's had tapes so mine was quite weird
some of my favourite games included skate or die, batman the movie, and lots of very weird public domain games/demo's that probably don't exist any more :(

the snes was very ppoluar in my house, but then i went on to the amiga which was really cool looking back on it 8)

the dizzys were great i still have them all
and skate or die was a great game to
the last ninjas were also great games

Over the years I had a Commodore Plus 4, a C64 and then an Amiga 500!

The joys of being an only child! - No consoles though!

Used to love the Dizzys, Turrican, James Ponds.......

Used to hate...waiting an hour for a game to load and then watching it crash!

Recently sold my commodore and some games got some good money for it as well.
I had the Spectrum 48+2? is that right? Loved playing Jet set willy, boulderdash, Ghosts and Goblins, goldenaxe?, Rolling Thunder and 1942 was that on the spectrum or just an arcade?

Bubble Bobble was my fave on the commodore.
