Repro Cardboard Inserts

Is there any way of telling the difference between original and repro cardboard inserts ? I still need a few vehicles for my collection so just want to know what to look out for, thanks

dunno if it is just me but you can smell how old the cardboard is, smells different to new cardboard, I would use that as a guide, bit weird I know sniffing cardboard but I'm sure you know what I mean.
