Remote Control Cars

Anybody up on RC cars? I fancy buying a nitro kit and wondered if anyone knows about them? The RC forums are a little intimidating......... just like RS!

A good friend of mine used to be well into them. He is hopefully going to be joining here soon as he is also a SW collector.

I went to Hereford toy fair btw, one guy had some vintage loose got a mint hoth stormtrooper for £5. Loads of SW lego for silly money.

I think there is another fair there early in April so if i have not got anything else on i may take a trip up. If i do i am sure my mate will come as well. He may even be looking to sell some of his nitro gear.

I've had/have a few nitro cars. They have come down in price a lot. They can be money pits depending on how fast or high you want to go. They also can be tempramental. My suggestion would be to buy a cheap entry level one ($300) and take it from there. They are lots of fun

i bought little lad a reissue tamiyo grasshopper for christmas .once i get him at my house we may even get it out box and build it .hope fully he will like it and take it up as a hobby.
Shop i go to has some awsome cars.one elecric car they told me you could do something to it that i hd no idea what he meant but the car would go 70 mph.

It'l do 50 miles an hour out of the box, and you can tune them like a real car! I may put lexus lights and a dustbin back box on mine and repeatedly drive round the town listening to **** drum and bass :lol:

If anyone has one I will trade for vintage!!
