Very sad news I actually remember him posting not that long ago once I spotted the name. He seemed a nice guy.

He passed away just this past Thursday :( If anyone who knew him wants to send a donation to his wife there is a gofundme page: https://www.gofundme.com/loveformete

I'm still in shock, he was just 36 years old and a father of two amazing kids. :(

Really really sad news. It brings everything once again back into perspective. Cherish those you love guys.

Devastating news. I've spoken to Mete regulary for the last years and were planing on meeting up. He shared his joy and knowledge of collecting and was always there if I needed advice.

Rest in peace my friend.

Tragic news and a guy with a name we all knew, even if we didn't know him personally.

Can't imagine what his wife and kids are going through. Thoughts are with them

Holy ****!!! I have spoken with Mete oodles of times over the years about bootlegs and am completely shocked by this. I only chatted with him a few months ago...

What happened?

Rest in peace buddy. You were a great help to me mate and I am very sad bu this news.

Pat

I knew the name from seeing him post on various boards but I'm not sure I ever spoke to him. Never nice to see a fellow collector pass away.

RIP.

Another glowing sabre :(

So sad to hear this. Mete was a good guy and I remember him from the forums. Such a sad day for all who knew him.

RIP buddy.

Bump for anyone that might want to donate, almost at the target amount.

Very sad news and especially at such a young age.

The money raised will never fill the gap left in his wife and childrens life but just shows how a community pulls together when tough times happen.

Nearly $30,000 in 6 days is a wonderful gesture.

So sad when you see guys posting about the hobby we are all so involved in and then they are gone
