R 2 question

I apologise in advance for the noob ignorance

But can I confirm the R2 is a pop up saber R2 ( no saber obviously) and is this last 17 ?

Just stamped LDL 1977
Had this little fellow years and he's in good nick, are thes valued above other r2s, has a clicking dome as well ( so does red)

Next question is, if he is then, presumably the original saber is v expensive, where do we stand on repro saber for own display purposes

I will never let him go anyway as had him so long, but curious as to value

Any advice from the experts would be welcomed

I assume you have made sure he is not a sensorscope one. People get confused. As far as the repro pop up sbers go...they are one of the few repros you can spot a mile away as they are painted....so I see no problem with it for yourself.

Round opening at top versus the squared off one fit for the sensorscope. Interior of boddy is different with a slope for the saber to pop up. I am sure someone will post pics.

Yes he is nice, clicky head and stickers are clean, just a little creasing

Got him with the r5 years ago on a car boot, as I recall 30 pence each

Didn't realise there was any value to him, thought all r2 s were same price wise
I'm the original meany though, won't let figs go, just get more, love r 2 figs though there is something about these little figs, can't wait to see the little fellow on his way from USA, being minded by his baddie mate, cheers again Todd star man, and thanks for the advice
