Back in the 80's did Kenner/Palitoy ever sell replacement parts for their ships - especially the Millenium Falcon ?

Cheers

I don't believe so. They're quite easy to pick up these days from beaters broken down for spares and repairs.

Cheers mate

I didnt think so either but one of my mates is trying to buy a Falcon off a guy who has told him that the jedi ball and ramp struts were replacement parts in the 60's - I told him it sounded like a crock but I would check up first

It might be that he's used spares from the 90s POTFII line on it. Some people still classify them as vintage.

On the back of many kenner instructions you will find a kenner satisfaction note. I know of people who reponded due to missing parts and received them in the mail in baggies. I have also seen some on Ebay on occasion....as far as them being from the 60's...someone may be smokin crack.

Found it...It is the we really do care certificate...........

Aside from that..they did package and send out parts for free back then and some do exist in their mailers....they did not sell them however.

Cheers

I would be amazed if this guy actually did get the spares back then - I think he is just trying to hide the fact that a couple of the parts are repro
