I used to go to the one in brum, then the one in mk (before they moved it to the franchise dome)' I always wondered about the exhibitors, I guess I've been refuelled by my decision to complete the loose vintage collection, and my love of auctions, tv Progs about auctions and toy hunter.

For exhibitors
Question 1. Do you make decent money at conventions? As in, after costs do you turn a reasonable profit
2. Do you go with the sole intention of making cashage, or do you go to meet nut jobs like me and trade?
3. What's the most expensive item you've ever sold
4. Do you ever get anyone nicking stuff from your stand?

I will try and reply as best I can mate

You need to do your homework before you go. Work out what you have for sale, what the profit margins are and set a target for yourself. You kinda make the same margins as you would on the forums. You save yourself the postage costs but you pass those savings onto the buyers. Everyones happy :)

2. Do you go with the sole intention of making cashage, or do you go to meet nut jobs like me and trade?
For me, much more to be part of the event. Meet people. Talk toys. Talk Star Wars. Its alot of fun.

3. What's the most expensive item you've ever sold
At an event? £200 Falcon I guess (events are better for selling bulkier items, postage cost thing again)

4. Do you ever get anyone nicking stuff from your stand?
Never
