the full 'top secret' lsit will be published in Todds book if it ever comes out.

Jedi Dallas owns most examples of what is still around and a lot of the one-offs after buying them off Jimmy Two Pack, who initially bought them off Gus or Duncan after the photos were done for the book.

It will be virtually impossible to put together decent run as so many of the one-offs are already tied up - but I'd love to see how you get on. General rule of thumb ROTJ combos common, ROTJ + ESB combo less common, ESB or SW combos rare or non-existent. Common is relative though - the most common is Han Trench/Madine but even then I doubt there are much more than 50 still around (if that).

I only own two, a vader/Han Hoth which is one of two or three I think, and a Squid Head/Han Hoth which is the only known one. I reckon they are good value for money and are likely to see a tri-logo rise in prices before too long. Han/Madine can be got for around £50 still.

There are a lot of partially sealed bubbles out there and much of what comes up for sale is dubious to say the least - don't trust any Fett and Vader combos

These things used to really be on the cheap end of an average of $50, but they seemed to really explode after Todd D showed his in the process of being photographed for his book. Now, prices are a bit all over the place depending on the combo/rarity/accessories.

I used to own a 2pack that contained an original C-3PO & Bib or Biker Scout ( can't remember which)
I sold it about 7 or 8yrs ago. I was in touch with the buyer

That photo was one of the reasons I started collecting again. Competely awesome.

I was looking on RS at an old thread a while ago that shows old archive cuttings from ToyShop back in the 90's but the photo's seem to be gone now. I think there were some of the Irish 3 packs shown in those threads.

A ROTJ Twin pack - Hoth snowtrooper and Han Trench Coat (bubble pretty dented as these are quite fragile on twin packs) went for £62.00 on Ebay the other week.

From what I can recall these twin packs rarely if ever have the weapons with the figures :?:

Do you really think so Andy? I only ask because I remember a few years ago when Jimm2pack and JediDallas were aggresively chasing these (right after Todd made them "popular") the prices were really silly but then Jimmy dumped his and things seemed to really tank. Haven't seen anyone going after these since although JediDallas still buys them occasionally.

The few I have seen on ebay in the last year or so never really went as high as I remember them going a few years back which makes me wonder if their popularity had really dropped off with collectors.

I've never found them that interesting really as they really do look insanely cheap and tacky (and people think Trilogos look cheap!) and I also never had the chance to pick one up for the focus as 8D8 doesn't seem to have ever been included in a 2 pack (*although Jimmy let out on RS that Todd actually had an 8D8 one then deleted his post + sent me a flurry of PM's telling me to never speak of it again!!)

As for Irish 3 packs Grant - Very hard to get an accurate idea of how many are out there and if the examples that are on the market are 100% legitimate. Easy to swap figures in and out so always proceed with caution.

Price wise you could probably get a bunch of ROTJ 2 packs for the price of a single Irish 3 pack!

I think Frank saw a couple of those in person perhaps and even got one from the seller if I remember right?

There are two on RS right now in fact for 500 euros each, one is cracked the other isn't - both seem to be legit combos from a trusted seller.

Very hard to price items and again you gotta proceed with caution when shelling out that amount of money.
