Been out of the loop pricing wise recently

Is this really what these command nowadays -

Picked up one of here for a £5 a few years back!

Well Liam I suppose you never know
due to the crazy price increases for vintage stuff we may see an up swing in modern prices.
and more new collectors for the modern lines ? Some of this stuff is now 20 years old and it is certainly more affordable.
I suppose only time will tell 8)

I think you could argue we are already seeing that with some items already . Is it me or have EP1 figures jumped up suddenly?

More and more of the POTF2 generation are getting back into collecting their youth i think which is refreshing to see.

EP1 on the up? Not seen it myself although I bloody hope so as I have a complete set as well as some creature/base bits and bobs I want to shift! :?

Yes it was after seeing this but on second thoughts there are 42 figures.
Plus R2B1 is a Harder to find figure too

If I remember rightly Yoda from the 12" collector series was the hardest to find and most valuable back in the day.

I think the dearth of classic 12" figures and poor quality of Hasbro's recent 12" line is another big reason for the price hike. The R2 and Yoda had loads of details and were very well sculpted - the stuff now is absolutely atrocious. I don't even think they've done these 2 characters in the 12" line since, I may be wrong. :?
