Looks fake to me. Hope this guy is happy with it. Fetched quite a bit of money.

Funny how another one has surfaced at the same time.

Han I think me and you should start making these.

Never seen anything like them before.
The second one looks less fake than the first one (too shiny) but I really don't have a clue what a real one would/should look like.

Here you go fee of charge....card your own figure.

I sincerely doubt that the first or second cardback is fake in anyway, the first seller is a very well known Polish contact who has unearthed a huge amount of information and figures from his own childhood collection and has continued to serve a main name in Polish bootleg collecting, he has also contributed some information towards the archive in this field.

Ron: Many of us bootleg collectors strive to collect something different from the "norm" and collecting such rare pieces that have come out of countries which didn't have a lisence to produce figures is more fun and rewarding than collecting run of the mill figures alot of the time. I started collecting bootlegs from venturing into variations and having a need to keep adding colourful and quirky pieces to my collection.

As I said, I know **** all about them, so I stand corrected! :D

As a matter of interest, who or what is the figure on that card ?

Those outragous shoulder pads are actually At-At driver arms put on an original Leia torso, for some reason the Polish bootleggers decided to use mostly Biker scout limbs on all their figures, second most common is tie pilot limbs, then Leia and 1 rare Zuckuss figure have been found with At-At driver arms. I have actually got a white Leia with biker scout limbs from the 1st generation of figures out of Poland, quite a funky piece.

The only fakes I see going around are the 1st gen carded prune face etc. Some Polish figures are quite easy to obtain other are very hard to obtain like the original series or some first gens, or even the Deluxe range.
