Plastic Proof Protectors

No, they are just plastic wallets/sleeves to put proof cards in, not wafer thin ones, they are a bit more sturdy for protecting proof cards. I think they may only be available in the US.
 
They are called top loaders Andy you can get them off of ebay.com

They even do larger sized ones for oversized proofs / cromalins
