It's been a while since the weather has been nice enough to take a pic of a decent sunset, but caught one this evening from my balcony as the sun was setting between two of the countries tallest buildings.

However, what kind of setting do i need on my camera to capture a good shot. The Sun was dark red but it's come out much paler on the pic

Think that you need to move house to get a nice shot out of your window. :D

Seriously, what kind of camera are you using. May need some kind of filter for it.

I suppose if I sold my collection I could afford to move somewhere nice.

The camera I used was a kodak DX7630

I just bought a Canon EOS 50D (or something) SLR and its ace, haven't a clue what to do with it  I've been sifting through the 170 page manual at work and its bloody confusing! Then you have to learn to use photoshop too!

You need a degree in photography to understand the instruction manuel!!!

why would you want to move gary when you have a shop that sells friends next door

seriously what the hell is that

One of three Chinese takeaways within 1 min of my house.

aaah beautiful london....

i love a bit of photography but i am **** with colour...black and white film is my favourite...i think its over exposed in one area (the sun) and underexposed because of how dark the balcony was.

perhaps it would have been better if you had been able to lean out more or go somewhere where it wasnt so dark, the meter reading was probably all to cock
