PGowdy's Predictions League 2013/14: Roll Call

Alright so it's just over 2 weeks to the beginning of the season so time to gather players for the new season.

It's super easy to play. Everything is done by email.


Each week i send out the fixtures... like this-

Chelsea - Everton
Liverpool - QPR
Man City - Norwich
Newcastle - Arsenal
Southampton - Stoke
Swansea - Fulham
Tottenham - Sunderland
West Brom - Man Utd

You then fill in your score guesses and return it (adding a maximum of 2 wild cards - a WC doubles your score for that pick. You get 38 to use over the season)... like this -

Man City 2-0 Norwich (WC)
Newcastle 1-2 Arsenal
Southampton 1-0 Stoke
Swansea 1-1 Fulham
Tottenham 2-1 Sunderland (WC)
West Brom 1-2 Man Utd

You get 1 point for a correct outcome, ie; you picked a win for X and it was a win for X.
You get 3 points for an exact score match.

It'll be pretty much the same as last year. £25 to play, all money goes to prizes.

Should be an exciting season.

Anyways so just reply and say "i'm in" if indeed you are "in" and pm me your email address and full name and next week you'll be sent the first week of fixtures.

As always, if you have any friends that want to play get me their email. The more the merrier!

I'll be updating runners on facebook as of today so keep an eye.

The trouble I always had with fantasy football was that I would be rooting for individual players to do well and got very pissed off when things didn't go my way :roll: it could ruin my evening :lol:

But this format shouldn't mess with my head too much so should be ok....... So long as I win

No. The idea wasn't well received. I wanted to add them as i get so bored on FA Cups weekends. The cups no longer hold any real interest or excitement so i thought it might gee things up a bit but 3 members replied saying they'd rather just have it Prem games and no one replied saying they liked the idea. So the league has spoken and it stays as it is.
