Paypal Withdrawals No Longer Instant?

I just withdrew my Paypal balance to my bank which for the last 5+ years has always been instant. This time I noticed that the withdrawal page is no longer the "classic" one but the new design like the home page, and it said 3-4 days instead of 2-3 hours. And yep, no sign of it in my account.

Surely they haven't reverted back to the old way of making people wait days for their money? Anybody else noticed this?

That's annoying it that is the case!

As long as they don't start charging for any size withdrawal!

I withdrew some money a couple of days ago and it was instant.

I think there is a glitch in their system and every once in a while they put it on a three day withdrawal - how many times have you tried to withdraw Edd (sounds a dodgy question!)

Worked fine for me on Thursday. Was in my bank account within minutes.

Its funny when a topic like this comes up, I have never been able to withdraw money from my PayPal a/c instantly, it always takes at least 24hrs to go across to my Bank account ?

As for lodging money the opposite way....Don't get me started.

And PayPal are based just up the road from me here in Dublin. ... :?

Just made a withdrawal and it was instant, I think as Iain said this was just an anomaly with their system.

Thanks all yes it was a glitch apparently, I got an email saying some withdrawals on that date were affected.
