Item sold. 1 happy seller, 1 happy buyer. And a new friendship formed. So win, win and oh yes another win.

Not sure why you felt the need to tell us this?

If it was a genuine sale after all and after the mudslinging etc. this guy got his sale and someone got a Grail then why not??? :?

I think I was the first person to call shrill when this was being sold on eBay. Having said that the seller gave a plausible explanation of an iraitionable greedy friends wife, I was content.
What followed was a fair amount of unnecessary mudslinging which is out of character of a true SWFUKer.
Not everyone gets it right first time, and not every average joe can upload a photo in an acceptable manor. We must understand this.
This forum is skating on thin ice currently, as time and time again we are getting closer to an RS mentality.
We used to mock RS, slowly we are becoming them.
I'm with pigcity on this. The seller was happy and clearly wanted to have the final word. Why can't they???
We are better than this guys.

Jez. This kind of attack on these highly respected boards, and lack of understanding around our high, and often anal standards, will ultimately contribute to your getting excluded from this organisation.
Please review your readiness to attack your fellow members in a way in which may lead to them feeling undervalued by the collecting community. On this occasion, we will let this outburst stand, but please in future, can make make some small reference to either breasts, or He-man, and in doing so, absolutely redeeming yourself.

I really hope that someone that wanted this got it.

If seller and buyer are both happy then that's great. That's what the game is all about.

I'm not sure I believe the backstory, and I believe Jez was right when he called shill on the auction. At the end of the day it doesn't matter. If a collecter got what they wanted at a price that was fair then it's all good.

Don't get me wrong here, I'm glad buyer and seller ended up happy but I've had correspondence on both here and on ebay with the seller and I'm 100% convinced that all of the backstory nonsense posted on here is complete bull, and when I see bull I'm gonna call it bull.

In reference to RS none of this drama would've happened because the seller would've had to post a price.

I'm done now :D

Are there new rules on the forum, because I have not seen a price on the item ?

Normally there should be a price on the items people sell on the forum.

Different strokes...different folks.

This forum is what it is simply because I thought there was an ethos of understanding and patience, however, there will always be differences of opinion which in my view is healthy and entreats debate, as long as that debate does not become accusatory and judgemental, then happy days.

Good luck I say, if the seller has his price, the buyer is happy, ( hopefully a member on here) then all is well. Hopefully new members and existing all learn from this type of situation, take that on board and use it in the future, when a similar situation arises

My 2 pennarth !
