I just bought a loose Chewbacca with the leg markings below - does anyone know if it is Palitoy or another COO?

I'm not a huge fan of 'naming' variants. No figures were produced in the UK that I know of, but some were certainly more commonly found there & packaged on Palitoy cards. This Chewie is probably one of them. As to which card it came off (ie. 12 back, 41, 45 .....) I don't think anyone can say for certain as there are no other distinguishing features.

I'll await a Plaitoy guru response :p

I always see people calling loose figures "Palitoy".....not sure how you would know...unless you ripped it straight from the card. This still would mean nothing to me as I do not collect COO variations....hell I do not collect any, unless you count big/head little/head Han and Lukes with differing hair colors. :D...........and no I do not want a debate or need to be schooled by someone...like I see happening on another forum.....I just do not really ****ing care.....anyways...so how do you know it's Palitoy???

You're right that it's probably impossible to tell which figure came off which card, but the figures themselves definitely did vary from country to country. I've had Kenner figures shipped over from America before, and they're just different to the tri logo figures I had as a kid. The paint's different, they smell different, you know what I mean!

We had Tri-logo figures over here. I remember towards the end of the figures line, Kaybee toys used to sell all the tri-logos in a bin for 2 for a $1.00.
