OT: 30th Anniversary of GHOSTBUSTERS!

I must admit, looking back, the drunken, over excited, nostalgia filled posts do make me look a little crazy but you know what?

I still ****ing love Ghostbusters!

Was going to buy the blue ray the other day as my daughter hasn't seen it but read that there is a news one being released soon which has a better quality transfer, can't wait, absolute classic film, remember seeing it in the cinema and everyone singing along to the song

Ghost-busters!! Loved the movie, loved the cartoon, , loved the toys, loved the sticker album, loved the theme tunes (Ray Parker Jr - 'Ghostbusters' and the always awesome Bobby Brown 'On Our Own' for the 2nd movie)

Brilliant, brilliant film just a shame the sequel was so meh. I loved it enough to go and see the locations for real, sadly my pictures of the firehouse are rubbish but Dana's building looks very different in real life:

This guy Adam Woo does urban exploration vids in the US. This one is in the original Ghostbusters firehouse! And I always thought it was in New York :shock:

Check out some of his other vids. The Disney ones are very odd. I can't work out if they are intentionally trying to subvert the Disney corporation or if it's just some American humor us Brits don't get :? Funny though

Wow that 5 year old thread was great to see again Joe!

We celebrated at a friends house last night and watched 1 and 2 back to back. I'd love to revisit the animated series one of these days as I haven't watched any of those in a very long time.
