I have found an old kids Star Wars football in my grandparents old tool shed. No light hS got to it and looks to be in excellent but used condition.
I can not find anything like it online - can anyone tell me if it definitely a knock off from around the time (1983) or if it could be genuine and worth anything to anyone??

If it is from 1983, I'd say you will probably get quite a bit of interest if you did sell it and here's why............

Back in 1977 when it was he Queens Silver Jubilee me and my brother were given a Silver Jubilee Coin and a Silver Jubilee Football.

The coin of course is dead common, but the football a lot, lot rarer, why? because kids played with them and over time got destroyed not like the coin which everyone kept because one day it would be worth a lot...yeah right

When my parents moved in 1997 my Dad found one of the footballs in the loft - I know it was mine as I've never liked football and never played with it so it just got put away, unlike my brother who was football mad.

It is red, white and blue with the Queen's coat of arms in the centre with Silve Jubilee 1977 printed on it. I reckon it is worth a few bob over all the coins, mugs and stamps, simply because those that were made were simply played with and perished over time. Also I can't find any images on the internet.

So upload a few pictures when you can be interesting to see it :)
