Yep there has been a great deal of discussion re this

For me there are many things in life that I would dearly love to own, but never will

The figure is worth exactly what someone is prepared to pay for it

Picasso got a lump of cheese and a pint for sunflowers, now look what it's worth

Sometimes though I think human nature can trivialise, and skew perspective somewhat, then again it's back to what you feel as an individual

All makes us avid SW collectors

Thanks for moving it to the right section. Was posting from my phone and wasn't sure which thread I was on before submitting!! Anyone with the previous thread so I can catch up on this rarity!! :D

Does anyone know how long the original production run lasted on these, i.e when they were produced from/to? Hard to believe that there is only one in existence given that everyone seems to have a loosey in their collection. Saying that, the cape on my own one is highly suspect :?

Nice figure. Nice price :o

Not very long given the small numbers known to exist. There is one other known sealed ungraded example and at least 4 opened examples known to date.

:)

I remember getting mine after I had the Palitoy Death Star for Christmas 1978. I know I received it on a bank holiday or school inservice day early in the year as I had the monday off ( I only remember this as I was given it on the evening and then was naughty so my Mum put my Death Star up high on her cupboard so that I couldn't play with it on the Monday). I'm thinking it was around Feb/March time as it was before my birthday in April and I think I had some 20 backs for that Birthday (although I'm not sure when the 20 backs were released but maybe someone out there knows?).

I'd love to hear more myself if anyone else had one or has any info.

Haha a few days earlier and i would have bet you to that

****ing out of order the amount some people pay for U90's more than you can get the same figure for AFA Moc sometimes.

If I had that kind of money to burn on a Vintage Moc I would be all over it. Although I would prefer the Wax sculpt out there of one of the first 12

Thanks

Vince

yeah but imagine if the bubble dropped off in 10 years :)

It's OK you could have it 'U' graded which would obviously only increase its value!!!

part of the reason I sold my moc's, you find one with a clear bubble next thing you know its turned yellow!!

Partly why i collect reseals as they are cheap and already ****ed :P Even if I was a multi-millionaire i wouldn't bother with stuff at this level. Silly money
