This would have to be pound for pound the most expensive piece of plastic I've ever seen. For those who don't know about the M.U.S.C.L.E. range of toys from the mid eighties these little fellas where just that, little. The typical figure sat no more than 30mm in height.

Wow, that's amazing. I know a little about MUSCLE figures but had no idea they go for this much. There's a MUSCLE forum called "little rubber men" or something like that. A guy on there made me some awesome custom Garbage Pail Kids Cheap Toys.
So what's so special about this particular figure?

That is cool, article was interesting also : http://blog.uofmuscle.com/21127/new-alpha-non-poster-muscle-figure-salmon-geronimo-shouting/

Not my cup of tea for 3K (especially as it is likely a production variant) but cool nonetheless, I loved these toys when I was a kid. I had a friend who had a bin bag full of them and when I visited he would always empty the entire lot on the floor lol

Not too sure Pete, Listing says something about not appearing on a poster so it's presumably a very rare figure. I think MUSCLE are cool but couldn't imagine spending that amount on something like that.

In these days of highly unscrupulous fakes you'd be wanting some sort of COA for that amount.
