Obvious variants to add to collection...

i started collecting variants but after i had bought 10-12 hammerhead variants and could not really tell the differences when they were displayed!!

Is that not a problem ALL variant collectors have!? :? :lol:

Jabba.... '01AB' was the name I gave myself when I used to make bad abstract techno music at uni, I sort of decided it could have been the name given to the first ever Star Wars droid/God of droids, I used to lay drum & bass loops and casio power chords over SW samples and play to the drugged up reminants of small South London house parties....

I wasn't keen on raves, though I did like the music and drugs!!!
Most SW fans/collectors I know were born in the mid '70s and so were teens during that era, also most of the crowd I knew (and still do) were creative types and I think when say 18-20 years old we all started yearning for our toys again, possibly a panic based reaction to having to grow up and face the real world.
Part of my re-submersion into SW was born from years of re-occuring dreams about stealling other peoples figures (I sold nearly all mine in '88, so as I could buy spectrum computer games, what a ****ing fool!). The dreams stopped a couple of years ago when I came across about 20 figures in my folks loft when they were moving and I decided to collect the rest...

Anyway, thanks for the input so far, during the last couple of days I've also discovered those Polish Variations (I don't like them), though I may try to track down an Uzay Headman and Blue Snowtrooper, there pretty cool...

i sold all my star wars +transformers +he man stuff on car boot and boot a coloured portable for c64 thought i had done well .still iwouldnt change it as i have some great memories on that beast of a machine 8) 8)
