November Vectis

There are a lot of meccanos coming up - a French collector is selling a large portion of his collection.

I would speak to vectis about buyers commission rates,as far as I am aware it's only 27% if you bid through invaluable ,if you bid on the phone ,in the room or via the vectis web site it's the same rate as before. Its invaluable that's has raised its rates.
There is some really nice stuff coming up in November.

As Nick says, Invaluable have increased their commission, not Vectis.

I believe this time round we're to be treated to the Meccano collection, a good amount of Palitoys and some 2D preproduction stuff. As I understand it these are all from collections rather than a discovery. All great stuff but you can't beat "new" items coming onto the market. That said, I shouldn't think it easy to build a Meccano collection overnight so their may be previously unseen items. I'm sure the decision to sell was in no way influenced by the insane price achieved for that Boba Fett last time!

Invaluable has a better site for monitoring the auction. I then bid with vectis when the lots come up.

With the pound relatively low against the euro, I'm preparing to dip my toes into the water for the first time. :)

I don't think there is anything coming up I need - a couple of 'nice to haves' but that's it.
