Good spot, Mark. Have reported it to ebay. If enough people do they'll remove the listing and make notes on the seller's account.

I quite often report the scammers that get highlighted here but don't think I've ever seen a listing removed, have you got any idea how many reports they need to receive?

None at all, mate. I also know of cases where multiple reports have come in and they've done **** all. That's mainly down to eBay being major bell ends. However, on occasion, you do get a CS rep who gives a **** and cancels things off. I'd say it's worked 1 in 3 times, on average.

Fair enough, it absolutely beggars belief that they leave this type of thing to pot luck but until it hurts their profits I doubt they'll give a **** en masse anytime soon.

They've done the reseal really well unless the card used didn't have any tearing on the yellow area and black border. Poor Nan.

No way people still try and get away with fake listings in ebay my tip for anyone is to read what the listing says my dad's freind bought just an Iphone box for £350 thinking it came with the phone!

Ouch.

Completely off topic but did eBay take his side when he complained despite the listing?
