New forum look!

Sorry that the forum has been down a bit over the last couple of days, i've been upgrading it to the new software. I know it looks a bit cack, but this is the only available template at the moment, so I will find a more suitable style for it ASAP. This new software has lots of cool features like being able to ignore certain members, and uploading stuff. Check out your "User control panel" at the top of the screen.

The main reason i upgraded was the amount of spammers we were getting on the old board. It was getting out of control, over 10 new accounts every day. This should make it harder for "spam bots" to join up, or at least makes it much easier for me to delete them.

if the fact it looks exactly the same as IOP/every other phpBB3 forum is annoying anybody, you can change it to the standard "subsilver2" or "grey" templates in your user control panel.

Seriously the old board layout was classic. Try and make it like a Mk2 version, but without and changes

lol I had to laught at that, sometimes at IOP you could join for a whole week and see no new posts on general discussion... shame really as was a good site, seemed to go right downhill after a whole lot of posts went missing and got a new look as atleast before that it was pretty regular

aint being picky.... but if u open a link from in the forum it doesnt open link in a new window.... so a few times i closed the window and lost the forum too GRRRRRR

it certainly is refreshing to log in and see all those yellow highlighted new posts every time

my only gripe is that sometimes it takes a while for the page to load up to post a reply
