[QUOTE="TabooedTuna, post: 547681, member: 13209"] So, my father is a bit of an artist but also a massive geek; he found a battered AT-AT at a car boot sale. He repaired/bodged a few parts to get it looking right again and then painted it. It does look the part of a graffitied war tank! But he said it's too large (H 60cm - L 71cm) and he has no where to keep it... I'm an apprentice space satellite Engineer and said I'd take it so to fill the inner compartments with a few electrical boards so to get it functional for some of my projects... Because why not? Who doesn't want an AT-AT filled with electrical goodies running dodgy programs passively scanning for RF signals and such? I'm pretty sure it used to have either a remote controller for movement, or a means of moving the limbs via button (possibly on a missing panel that was replaced by a fabricated part) and I was wondering if anyone can help Identify the model so I could decide whether or not to have this as a static case for projects or if I can focus on using it for wireless projects and build a new controller for it. I would take it apart myself to find out but I don't want to risk chipping, or plain braking parts in the process if I can help it... So if anyone has any clues that would be great!
