Need help. Found this lot.

Hey Guys.

I found this lot, and I need some help identifying the shuttle on the picture, I do not think it looks like the vintage version, I asked the seller and he said that, it says it is from 1984 under it. What do you think?

Both the versions have the 1984 stamp - I can't remember but one has the darker glass - I'll check for you

does not look vintage to me, if they used the same molds to make the modern version it could still say 1984 on the bottom...

I am sure an expert will be along any moment now to give you a more detailed response

Okay, thx guys. I guess it is the modern version then, cause the vintage versions that I could find was not with the dark glass What do you think about the other vehicles? Do they look vintage

Yes, it is defo the modern one with the darker glass and on closer look you can see that plastic is darker too

The other ships look fine - if not a bit 'played with' - but they were/are toys

Iains got it spot on, they stupidly copied the whole mold for the modern 'Vintage Line' including the date stamp of 1984. Darker glass, slightly darker plastic and battle damage and other detail give the new one away. The true vintage one is all one colour plastic with no shading or detail.

Does they stamp a modern one with a 1984 stamp in the bottom ? to me it also looks new, maybe somebody have used new and old parts to make a perfect one :?

To me it looks like there is a new stamp under the new ones, It says china on this one.

The new ones have 1984 stamped on the bottom as well which has caught a few people out on ebay. I think one seller was adamant he was selling an original vintage one when someone asked and all he kept saying was its got 1984 marked underneath so it is original. Muppet!!

It's the same you have linked to in your previous post, the SAGA 2002-04 and the Saga collection 06 have the same year, although the 06 one is darker in places
than the 02-04 one.

But they say it is the same stamp ? this one is made in china and the vintage is stamped kenner ohio 1984.
