Guys,
Just wanted to ask if you have any idea of the whereabouts of a figure that i got rid of years ago.It holds very special sentimental value to me,and i wish that i had never sold it :x Heres the story:
I sold this Kenner C3P0 12back with an ever so slightly lifting bubble on one side to Gary Smith way back in 2002-2003 i beleive.I sold it together with a DSC with no POP.I have emailed Gary in the past,but he cannot remember who he sold it to.The figure and card were very,very good and it was only the bubble lift on one side(and maybe a tiny ding)that makes it different from others.I bought this figure in July 2001 from a guy in the USA,and was overjoyed when i got it.It was the pride of my collection for a long time.Then,i had the unfortunate (and only time)of being stung in collecting.The stinger was Mr Torres and he seriously ripped me a new one for 12 backs of Stormtrooper and Vader.I was naive at the time,and got seriously reamed.This incident,aswell as other personal issues made me want to sell everything carded,except for the Palitoys i had at the time.So i sold all my kenner 12 backs off.However,i have often wished i could have kept that carded C3PO as it truly gave me the best feeling ever 10 years ago when i opened the package.
The Palitoys i refer to have been mentioned by me here before,and id like to know if anyone here owns one of them?I sold them to Bernie Holmes who in turn sold them to another....
I would love to be reunited with any of these figures,especially the C3PO so if any of you can remember who bought the C3PO from Gary,or if it was you-please let me know
