Need advice on OS for a laptop.

I have a desktop and ps3 (pre ordered ps4).

But lappy needs updating - I keep to ps3 for shooters and racers, but have liked using my pc/lappy for mmporgs since 1999 (back when they were good!).

Got my eye a couple of upcoming titles - so gpu needs to be able to handle them without melting the lappy to my legs.

maybe try getting a compromise of both and build a media cube? i know its no the same as a laptop but my pc is the size of a small box and connects via hdmi to my tv, wireless keyboard and mouse ect and you have a media station/gaming pc/internet browser and you can still play from your lap?

might save you a packet too.

Need the mobility of the laptop, and also don't want to have 2 tv's in each room (I like to be on the lappy and the other half/kids can still watch movies or the dreaded soaps etc).

My current one is chugging along - so its about time the fella got an overhaul. Was just trying to see if anyone had experiences with the 2 different gpu's

If you're mainly going to play online games then the GPU doesn't need to be as powerful. However, I'd be really surprised if anything you'll typically be doing with a laptop can throttle GTX.
