My mum found these her loft jammed in the corner of her loft last weekend and posted them to me they are my original child hood figures! She also emailed me a picture of my cake from my 6th Birthday Party. I thought for so long nothing survived.

When I first read the title of the thread I though it was gonna be a random sales pitch again by a

Not long ago my mum found some 80s citadel miniatures in her loft, still unopened!!!

She said they must have been a present for me that never made it..

It was quite cool to see them though. 8)

Good going Jay. Its always fun to see others peoples toys when they were kids.
Its where it all began for us when we all began to love SW.

Grant. 8)

Nice one Jay! You should get those on display ! :D

I have a couple of my childhood ones, best one is of course my original 8D8.
The toys you actually played with as a kid are priceless!

I so wish I still had figures from when I was a kid.

Sold them for silly money at a Car boot many, many moons ago!!

So how many thousands do you want for them???

My interest in SW figs was reignited last year when i went back to the UK to clear out the last of my gear from my parents loft & came across my 30 or so childhood figs in a plastic bag.
Somehow they've now got mixed in with other beaters i've obtained. I'm a little dissappointed about that.

The Death Squad Commander has went green on his chest and the imperial commander has half of his foot chewed but hey ho.

Worthless but priceless 8)

The AS-AT Driver is in pretty decent nick mind with mint emblems the only fault is a tiny fleck to his nose. He must be one hard ass figure because mine got flung out of windows with home made parachutes and **** like that when i was a kid.

I remember my Luke Jedi pouring lighter fluid over poor chewbacca and lighting him up with a match that was held in Lukes saber hand. Its amazing how these have brought back memories

Some of my SW figures were in the parachute regiment aswell  I used to throw mine off the top of blocks of flats I also remember hanging some of my figures by the neck in torture scenes.
Han Hoth got it the worst I remember setting fire to Him with matches. By the time I had started to set fire to my Figures I guess the magic was starting to ware off a little.
If I remember correctly Han Hoth got burnt first because the fingers were snapped off.
It must have been quite common problem for the fingers to break because I had 2 Han Hoths with the same broken finger problem.

Ah the good old days...

So it wasn't just me then

Image trying to put the ten thousand points of articulation modern figures through the **** that we threw at the vintage line. They wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes
