My loose collection

Here's my loose collection, modest compated to the jaw dropping shizzle you lot have on here , all im looking to do is get a complete collection of single figures to put in a display cabinet, im not a serious collector or anything , they were my favourite toy as a kid (born in 79) grew up in the 80s , and I have all sorts of retro stuff and always wanted a Star Wars figure display , and it's getting close now

Feel free to point out what's not correct , the odd blaster isn't correct I know and some repro bits here and there which il look to replace as and when and on looking at them all tonight I need some new light sabres and a couple of figures need upgrading and get the last few missing then 16 of the last 17 and some variations, but most are in good shape and should make a nice display once complete

I've got a mint leia organa on way and a nice bespin guard

I think I just need a royal guard ? (Bar the last 17) a brown snake for yoda and a red eye yoda for the Orange snake

Feel free/ please point out what I need and what's not right , and anyone feel free who can help with bits I need

Forget the shizzle on here, everyone started with one figure. Enjoy your figures, you are not that far away from a complete set. I like the fact you have already gone for some variants as I am a variant collector myself.

The really is nothing much wrong, it looks like the left Tusken has a wrong cape, maybe a Lando one?

The repro **** is all over the place, ebay etc. If you looking for a reliable source, this forum and sellers Iain will be able to sort out.

Either burn Repros or pass them on to someone like me as I use them for vintage custom figures.

Again, you've come a long way and there's still a lot to discover. Enjoy your collection, it's great.

Thanks mate that's the 1st time I've ever put them all out like that together and was quite chuffed at how they looked all layed out together , I'm really getting the hunger now to complete them and get a cabinet , i don't mind repro weapons for now and once in a cabinet /over comming months il gradually change to originals once I've got all the figures, that's all I want to do is just end up with a complete figure collection that will do me , I collect/ put money in to all sorts of other stuff and memorabilia, and also building up a nice little collection of other 80s toys and things I had or wanted as a kid, Lego, a team , I have a lovely complete collection of the 5 inch A team figures, muscle men , transformers , rock lords, dancing coke can , some amazing original he man animation cells and drawings , all sorts of stuff , even got ghetto blasters and 80s Classic cars and a massive collection of adidas trainers

I did have a few mini rigs and vehicles like at at, scout walker, troop carrier , x wing etc going back a few years now but I sold them all, I thought it doing with carded figures, is a big expensive slippery slope haha so forced myself awsy from going down that route

I just need to firstly focus on completion this collection, replace a couple of these for better quality ones, then try to compete the last 17 which is looking expensive, but fun and exciting all the same

My hat goes off to you all and the collections you have , ive been having a good look around here in total awe at the collections you guys have,,amazing stuff

Great loose run coming togetehr and nothing at all to be ashamed of in regards to what others may have as The Gent says, we all started with just one or a handful of figures and you already have a good cabinet's worth. Most impressive is the quality of some of your loosies, the super white Snowtroopers and the very clean Han Bespin caught my eye straight away.
Keep going.. you'll get the set soon enough!

I agree beautiful collection you have, but there is a lot of repro weapons.

If you want to ID them, then use the water test, that one will find most of them but not all.

If you do not know it, then take the weapons and put them in a glass of water and push the weapons under the water and let us know what goes to the bottom and do not come up again and what that comes up again and flaot ?
