Most battered rare figure?

I'd love to know the history of that Luke X-wing, was it sold in a shop? And if so how did it make it past quality control at the factory? I know there are lots of trilogo miscards, but I can't believe this left the factory like this. Maybe it fell apart later?
And if it did make it to a shop like that, who would buy it other than a forward thinking collector?
Whatever the reason, amazing piece.

The LXW figure fell apart en route to AFA from the UK. The original owner sent it over with some other MOCs so AFA just went ahead and graded the piece when they probably shouldn't have bothered, if i recall right they still charged for the service, go figure!

The original owner threw me a bone and contacted me about the piece when i was actively building up the LXW focus, i love it and it would probably be one of the last MOCs I'd part with now. Think i paid £30 for it 8 years ago, based that value on the overall grade it got

Love that Luke X Wing, wonder if there are many others out there like this.

I do remember seeing a Han Solo on Brian's toys a few years ago, nearly bought
It but the postage was ridiculous

I don't think its that rare but I too have one of the lovely water damaged mocs. Mine wasn't quite as bad as Ponchos though.

This is a great thread...

I love beater and partly sealed Mocs, to me they have character a little bit like a good antique has a patena

In the main they are more in line with my budgets

Quick question...the LL Rancor Keeper in that state...how much would it realise?

These mocs in any condition should be prized and loved...and kept well away from those people that should not be mentioned, so that there are mocs of all ranges for all collectors :D
