Mos Eisley Cantina at DisneyLand Paris

It looks like there are lots of rumours about what Disney is going to do with the Star Wars licence at Disneyland. I'm hopeing that the Mos Eisley Cantina actually happens. Disneyland is already great and I'd love an excuse to walk around recreations of sets, spend a huge pile of money on souvenirs and get my pic with Darth and Mickey

If it goes ahead this could be great. Personally I would like one floor filled with animantronic aliens to recreate the cantina perfectly then you could go downstairs for an another exact copy but this time all the booths are empty and it runs like a themed restaurant. But hey, I am just picky :wink:

This also could be the first legitimate reason anybody has had to visit France since the D-day landings...

I took my girlfriend to Disneyland last year as a christmas gift and absolutely expected to hate it. I usually hate all theme parks and rollercoasters, but I loved it! Its hard to explain why, but if you still have a childish side I think Disneyland is a fantastic way to spend a day or two of your holiday.
I think the main thing that really sets it apart from other parks is that the people who built/run it/work there seem to have a real love, understanding and pride in the source material, which ends up being pretty infectious. If that same attitude transfers over to a Star Wars area, it will be AMAZING

For a moment there I had a fleeting negative thought about it looking 'a bit too commercial' and 'cheapening Star Wars', but **** that. Somebody slap me. Looks bloody brilliant! SWFUK trip to France anyone?
