Care of RS, I checked my settings and either we don't get the choice to opt out, or Ebay UK haven't got round to this YET.

Someone let me know if I missed the option, but I can't see it.

This is BS indeed! I just opted out, but mine is a ebay.com account. I imagine it will show up a little later on their other sites just like the search changes did. I've had my pictures stolen before for other auctions, so I think this is an absolutely horrible idea.

Now before I bid on any auction I'll have to contact the seller to ask if they actually took the pictures or if they are borrowed. Then hope they are telling the truth when they respond back.

And will Ebay give a **** about all the people who are going to buy from listing where the seller doesnt even own what he is selling.................

This policy should be against the ****ing law!!!

I cant see the UK allowing this to be honest our laws are quite different to the U.S.A

Talk about giving CUNTS like Nathan Edwards a free ride or what

Its like watching a huge tsunami heading for the shore to wipe out heaps of unsuspecting people and knowing you cant to f**k all to change things.

Grant.

im not too fussed really, they can do what they they want with my pics, im using ebay more and more just to advertise stuff and then deal outside ebay....feck em.

What a load of shite if that happens. Will definately have to watermark future pictures.
Ebay are also bringing in this 'free postage' thing next month. At the moment if you sell certain media (DVDs) you can't charge any postage - they are going to extend this to include a wide range of suff.
So say if you sell a DVD and it goes for 99p, you post it out for £2.00, then Ebay & Paypal rape you for their fees you are selling at a loss. So you may as well chuck the DVD in the bin. :?
