I joined the site,it caters for a fair bit but is struggling to get members and therefore content.

At the end of the day we all have our favourite sites and it isa difficult to get involved on others (i'm on 5 joe forums but only use 1) and this is the only sw forum I use because I like the people and the less serious nature.

I do know andi and can vouch for him being a top guy,he pays very quickly for items and covers a lot of ground in his hunt for items,he may be slightly aggresive in his quest for certain items but we can all be a bit like that at the beginning (he's not a veteran collector by any means)

Wowww whats going on here am I getting ganged up on ha ha ha. Huge sorry for double posting I was just getting used to the site thats all and accidently posted the same post as couldnt find it, and didn't think it had gone on so just to make sure added again. Added a few links to my new site as you do when you join so whats the problem?
And as for my new site, I run a huge business and redevelop property and have an aweful lot going on at so at the present moment have not put the effort in that I should with it.
The lad who designed it is away until after new year at which point he will be implementing a self managed system to add photos gallerys etc, and will put a bit more time into pushing the site and managing it, so please dont be too critical at the minute.
Stef knows me and has had lots of dealings with me and am one of the keenest collectors around, its my passtime that soothes my hectic lifestyle.
Anyway really sorry for double posting will not do it again. And will put the odd link to my site like it or not, sorry about that.

The double posting we don't mind too much, your a newbie so we cut you guys some slack. The odd link to your site is fine, incesant requests to join your forum however, may get monotonous. Feel free to keep posting them though, we'll just delete them if we feel your going OTT! :lol:

Just newly joined the site, so in the different forum categories where I added a topic I just added a little link to my site, I do not understand the big problem with this. If somebody came on my site and added 3 links in different chat categories I would not care at all. This is what I do not like about some forums they are very clicky, if you understand what I am saying, giving new members grief, it will put people off joining. I have not got time to keep sending long winded emails about silly things so lets here the last of this please. I have come on here for a reason and will be a good member with a lot of good input for your site.

Also you have come here with a specific aim in mind (and that's not a bad thing) but you are bombarding the site with it. You have two posts with exactly the same question in the vintage area.

People have replied. You have even been asked questions which you have ignored.

You'll find people on here friendly and supportive (well most of them :lol: ) so relax a bit and get to know people, answer the questions you've been asked or reply to the thread you've already started and you'll find plenty of help and advice.

I have not ignored posts at all I just do not sit at a computer 24/7 and answer things when I have time. I am a very busy person thats all.
Now I already think I have introduced myself with what I wrote with my plans, and I have not bombarded the site at all, as explained previously I did not know how to use the site so posted the same subject a few times by accident as I could not see it when I posted it.
I have certainly not bombarded the site I have merely asked for peoples views as that is what a forum is for. I would be collecting star wars if I was on this site or not.
And as for adding a few links to my site that is totally fine do not know why there is a problem with this it is ridiculous. Could add as my signature but really did not know is was a big issue.
Most people seem fine on here but got a little annoyed when I saw all those comments the other day, I am totally relaxed but when you see all those comments when all you are trying to do is get used to the site it makes me a little angry.
Hope I hear nomore of this now, and like I say if I do not answer immediately its just because I am busy thanks
