MOC collection on Ebay

So I guess a few saw this:

Got up to 3.5k before it was pulled. What do you think happened? Realised they could get more individually? Sold for a private offer? I'm amazed it got as high as 3.5k to be honest, there wouldn't be that much profit to be made on it IMO with most being Jedi cardbacks.

I think she got out of her depth, realised it was worth much more than they originally thought and decided selling the wanted bits of separately would make much more money than a job lot buyer picks up auction. The last comment said her boyfriend was taking up selling it all.

I'd imagine some of the nicer stuff has already been sold. There's a bunch of nice palitoy ROTJ in there and a bunch of 70A which will make a bob or two. And the last 17.

I thought the auction would have hit 5-7.5.K if it had runs it course. Separately, there may be 10K's worth of stuff there.

Yeah i know a little bit about this. She was actually offered good money for it and turned it down. I think a lot of collectors emailed her telling her it's worth a mint probably in the hope she'll break it up. Someone is still trying for it but she is now reluctant to sell. I think now she thinks it's worth more than it is as someone messaged her and told her they were going to bid 8k. I don't think that person followed through (i think it was someone just annoyed she had pulled the sale). No way it's worth even close to that. More like 5.5-6k. I think if she'd left it running she would have got a good price.
If she breaks it up and sells it it's going to be a lot of hard work especially since she knows nothing about vintage SW.
