I turned up to my local carboot yesterday in chorleywood with only £65 in my pocket, i wish i had taken more. i never expect much these days apart from a few beaters but boy did it turn up!
i walked down the first section and right down the end i find a loose at-st "how much mate?" £7 mate!" "will you take five?" yeah go on then" im thinking great start, the seller then tells me someone down the next line of stalls has a load of old star wars stuff so i look and in the distance i can see a boxed rebel transport!!!! so i get a move on and the blokes whole stool is mostly boxed vintage star wars (and im thinking balls ive only got £65 on me and pay day isnt until monday) anyway what are your prices on all this then mate?

in the end i bought the falcon, slave1, wampa, luke farmboy, yoda, boba fett and boba fett backing card for £60.
i said to the bloke i get paid during the week could he hold stuff for me but he wanted rid of it that day he said take my number and if theres any left i could buy them at a later date, i called him at 1030 after i left the carboot and he had sold all the rest as a job lot for £280
someone got a bargain.
