MISB or MIB that is the question

Just received this back from afa with another few things and they have refused to grade my jabba dungeon set with barada, amanaman, ev-9d9 saying it is not sealed and has been opened but i think there are wrong on this. I have posted the photos to see what other people think

dont know without seeing it up close, the third photo shows the tape has been cut short (right hand side) either buy the factory or someone else (??) which would indicate to me that theyve not taken the chance on it, apart from that it looks fine

It's hard to tell from the photos. From what I can gather they class something as "open" if the tape has been cut/removed or has come loose. I think even if it has had extra tape put on top of it they refuse to grade.
I'm sure someone else can confrim (or deny) this and probably add more details.

It's a damn nice peice you got all the same.

Has it got two bits of tape sealing each end of each flap? Usually there is a single piece in the centre of the flap. Is there any residue in the centre of the flaps where it might have been taped originally?

Any sign of the tape thats on being reglued?

I think you might be right there Darth Wensleydale the green dungeon set has 2 bits of tape each end the red set has 1 at either end. But on the green set there is no glue residue in the center of the flaps. The tape look original at both ends dont look at all if they had been reglued or cut in any way. I will try to put high quality of photo on it

Have you asked AFA why they refused it? They may give you more details.
