Mini rig question

As i had a few of these as a kid, i always wondered if any of them appeared in the first 3 movies, or where they just made up vehicles for the toy market ???

Just another silly question but does anyone have any info on how they became part of the toy food chain ???

Yeh, a lot of them didn't appear in the films. They were made to look like they could have been though. Like they might have been just out of shot.

The Vehicle Maintenance Energizer is seen in the films but none of the others (apart from the the Radar Laser cannon and Tri-pod Cannon)
I'm suprised with all the nods to the vintage toy line in the Clone Wars cartoon that a couple of the designs weren't used for background vehicles.

I would assume they were written in to the comics/cartoons after the toys were made though??
