May 5th BFC Star Wars Family Fun Day

Was one of the best conventions I've been to. Perhaps not so much for the guest list or vintage figures, but for the amount of SW characters wandering around. All were super friendly and interactive especially with the kids. Another bonus was that it wasn't too packed and queuing for signatures was generally quick. The 5 signatures I got were all friendly and chatty.

Was great to meet you too, Mike. As you can see the little one wasn't fazed at all by the suits. In fact wouldn't leave General Grievous alone.

Also nice to meet to Cc4rhu aswell. Who needs a new username as I hadn't a clue who it was when he said it to me, but I clearly recognise and know it well now on the forum.

I had a rummage through one of the £3 per figure beater boxes and pulled out a Warok and a white Chief Chirpa which was nice as I'd virtually given up on buying any vintage due the high prices.

The Rancor model display said he was making up some vinyl model kits of it I think, will have to keep an eye out as it was a great piece that 8)

Andrew..great pics, little un is on the SW road mate...BTW that Dengar had a few too may pies  there was a Fett around much the same as well

Can't believe you picked up a bloody Warok!! Missed that I was looking for last 17  one of the stalls had DS Gunner, couple of last 17 but daft prices so swerved them!

All I picked up was a skiff guard for £3 no weapon ( he is for a reseal MOC) and a collectors edition 90 s Luke 12 inch MISB got that down to £7 ( have darth, Obi wan and Han so thought I'd get the Luke) not vintage but there you go!

Did notice there was a hell of a lot of Lego and the kids were going mad for it!

Was the Leia slave really the best Burnley could offer us? :D

I also didn't realise the skiff Gam Guard was played my Diego Maradona.

More costumes

There were rumors of a mystery celeb underneath one of these suits .... :?

Great pics. Glad you guys had a good day out. Pity I couldn't be there a bit far to come from Glasgow :(

Barry what camera do you have? - smashing pics

Nikon D50 Andy

It's a DSLR that's quite an old model now so cheap as chips second hand. All my gear is second hand from http://www.ffordes.com/ 8)

Nikon 18-55mm lense

Nikon SB800 flash (not absolutely necessary)

The secret is Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 or any superseding version of Elements.

Nice one Barry - good camera.

I like a bit of photography myself I got a Nikon D3200 last Xmas.

Will check that site out :D
