matchbox cars

evening all, a friend of mine at work as a small collection of boxed matchbox cars. i will post pics if anyone thinks they can help, but she's looking for a rough valuation.

Need a bit more info dude, are they 1-75 matchbox lesney? Or more modern?

Its like sw- some are worth pennies, the rag and bone cart is £1k+
As a rough average the lesney sell for £20-30 if boxed in good condition for common ones.

I used to love collecting these. I have a price guide at my folks home I will try and dig out. Some pictures would be a huge help

she seems to think they come in a set of about 10, and she has 7 or 8 of them.

My Father, brother and mother all worked for Lesneys in the 70's/early 80's!

Consequently, I had lots of matchbox toys as a kid!

Generally they were forced on me as a child. And my dad banned me from buying Airfix stuff!!

Amazed really he let me have Palitoy star wars and action man stuff!!
