Interesting article. Shame how times have changed though. The guys at kenner seemed to have been encouraged to embrace creativity. Modern toy design seems more about buisness and less about the passion. Like everythings scanned these days. Also the packaging on TFA toys look so dull and samey. For a lot of guys on here, the packaging was what drew them in as kids. The guy should remember what made the toys cool back in the day instead of authorising such dull looking pieces. (In my oppinion anyways. Not even gonna mention how articulation on the toys looks like potf2.

Some good points and I also had similar thoughts about the packaging but wonder if it's the way it is due to modern market research. That said though they must know that a big part of the money being made from sales is coming from adults who will probably never open their figures. I'm sure a vintage style line will appear soon enough and it'll be another way to sell the same figures but in different packaging ( and we'll all probably get in line to buy them :lol: ).
