Luke's double telescoping lightsaber

After seeing Tigham's very nice DT Luke I thought I'd post a few (grainy) comparison shots between a real and a fake saber.

The key differences are a dimple on the handle of the original, and rougher break points, particularly at the back of the inner saber

The original is the lighter yellow one in these pics

the dt repros are so good that it is easy to be conned. I also feel that anyone who could afford to make a decent repro could afford to buy 100 dt Luke's - they are hardly rare in the big scheme of things

there's a lot more secrecy over the darth and ben sabers, but only a few own them

the revalvit sabres are pretty damn good and they can be aged to look real too.

even if they are "hidden" in a loose lot people can get excited and conned by these.
