Hi all,

im looking to shift this coin as i have a graded one, its pretty flawless.

£20

also has anybosy read this by Gus Lopez about this coin?

"Then, there's the small Luke X-Wing coin that has surfaced in recent years. It is believed that this was planned for a mail-in offer that Kenner never held. Of all the specialty coins outside the regular 62 coin set, this coin isn't too tough to track down. On the other hand, it is believed that there are only 400 or so in existence, which is really not a lot. They can be found extremely cheap, so I'd suggest scooping one up if you come across one."

i dont think this is the case but if anyone can elaborate on it?

The coin that Gus is talking about in that quote is a smaller POTF prototype coin. It is quite a bit smaller than the regular production coins, has a slightly different image on the front, and the back is completely different from the production coin. It is one of the most common of the prototype coins and it seems a lot more than 400 are out there. I would say they average between $30-$40 in price when they come up for sale.

Here is an image of the front and back of mine. The difference on the front of the coin is the planet nearest to Luke's head has a ring around it like Saturn.

Ah, cheers for clearing that up mate, whats the going rate for AFA graded Boba Fett mail-in coins nowadays?

I don't follow AFA stuff too much, but Brian's Toys has one at $449.99. I know one was recently listed on RS for $400. It sat there for a few weeks if I remember, so the seller could have gone lower in the end to move it.

I got a coupon code from Brians Toys for $40 off an order over $300 it is DARTHVADER and is good until the 28th. That would bring the coin down closer to what the one on RS sold for.
