Luke x-wing, plastic insert normal?

Got what I think is a great deal on e-bay, however the figure raises a question for me, on the inside of the card behind the figure appears to be a flat piece of (protective?) plastic (look a third of the way up his boots you can see the bottom edge of it) it runs almost to the top.
Is this normal on this card?
Also there's no number on the racetrack outer or on the blue section of cardback, again is this normal?
I have NO reason whatsoever to doubt the seller (excellent feedback, great communication) but I'm fairly new to this.
Sorry if this is in the wrong section but it's E-bay related.

It's normal for LXW to have the plastic insert. It's there on most of the cards ranging from SW 21-back to POTF.

As far as I'm aware they put it in a lot of figures to stop the figure sticking to the cardback. Very common. Nice figure. 8)

Been the same with a Tri Logo Yoda for me. Finally snagged one this week. You've gotta be patient in this hobby!!
