Luke Skywalker on ROTJ Kenner graded AFA Y-90 C90 B90 F90

Hi,

I was just wondering what I should be paying for an AFA rated 90 with yellow bubble with the subgrades of 90 on each for a Luke on ROTJ carded figure?

I have been offered one but I am not sure if the valuation is corrct.

Depends really what card it is Bram................... Jedi Luke would be a lot less than farmboy Luke :wink:

Yeah it is a Luke Farmboy, sorry... It was graded back in 2003 and has AFA 90 on all subgrades. I double checked with toygrader.com

It's probably been left in the sunlight with the yellow bubble which is a shame as it probably wouldn't score above an 80 now.

Pricewise, I wouldn't be 100% to give a definitive price as that is a top end ROTJ character and also the fact that it scored 90!

From looking on ebay they range from about £350 - £550 depending on if its the blond or dark brown hair variant

It's a difficult one to price really.

If it was graded y then it must have been at least partially yellowed. The yellowing doesn't necessarily mean its been in the sun. It is just a degradation if the plastic over time. Some bubbles just seen more prone to it than others.

I would say with subs like that it will sell well. Have you checked the population report to see how many other 90 grade examples there are? Some people will pay a premium for tip top condition.

In terms of value. I would hazard a guess at around 350 quid. Kenner Moc sales seem a bit funny right now.

Just checked and there are 42 others graded like this... Seems quite a lot.

I've just contacted him again to see if I can get the price down a bit.
