Hi guys,

Luke Jedi has atleast 2 capes. One with stitching and one with the action man button. There's probably more.

The 'action man button' cape- was it available across the production line in all markets?

Was the blue saber available outside the Kenner US market?

Did the 'Action man button' cape Luke come with blue saber?

Does anyone have a 'action man button' Luke Jedi cape for sale?

Thanks.

I have seen a Blue sabre one in a palitoy baggie, so yes, Del used to own one

I know Del originally questioned that one and not sure if he was ever able to determine if it was legit. I'd like to see another example surface.

However, blue sabers can be found on Canadian 65 backs, Toltoys 65 backs and also a few Trilogos have surfaced. I would imagine some early Palitoys could be found, but the only example I have seen was a fake.

Back in 1983 Luke Jedi was the first ROTJ figure I picked up at a small independent toy shop, it was the first time I had seen any of the original release of ROTJ figures and the Luke I bought had the snap cape with the green saber - I'm 100% sure of that.

There is 3 different capes not including the other variants like Ledy etc, I'm pretty sure that all 3, HK, MIHK and Taiwan COO figures where also released with a snap cape version. The only one that was also released with the blue saber was the HK figure so the majority would have been green sabers.

I own an original genuine Palitoy MOC Luke Jedi with the blue sabre, in fact my example has two blue sabres in the bubble:eek:! The bubble is a double stem obviously a first issue. I picked it up from Jim Stevenson about 4 years ago.

Do you have a picture of the double stem + 2 blue sabers? Very nice find!

Another vote to see that too. :) I've only seen the double stem on the 65C card, so I'm curious what back this is.

Hi guys,
I have a Palitoy MOC debut Luke focus on the Show Case forum(page 3);

http://www.starwarsforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=9813

There are obviously no detailed shots of it on there just the front shot showing one of the blue sabres. I have had trouble with my photobucket account as of late ie I cant seem to upload any pics etc?! Any suggestions to help me out there would be great as I do want to post some more of my collection in the future. Also I could show you some diff angle shots of this rare piece I was lucky to come across!

Nice to see the photo!

This is certainly the sceptic in me and maybe it is just the photo, but what are the white marks on the left edge of the bubble? It's making it look like it could be resealed or lifting to me, but again maybe it is just the pic. I've also never seen a Palitoy with the cape on.
